CICAP is an agrifood research center specialized in providing advanced services to agroindustrial companies. CICAP engages in R&D activities aimed at developing and improving food processes and products. The CICAP facilities include state-of-the-art laboratories to perform a wide range of analyses and a project management office.

CICAP currently participates in numerous R&D projects spanning diverse areas such as the development of new functional ingredients, innovations in meat processing and meat quality, new analytical techniques, the development of active packaging, new technologies to improve product traceability and management, the development of technologies to reduce ecological impact, and new techniques to improve agricultural production, among others.

CICAP assists businesses in creating corporate consortiums with the capacity to undertake ambitious projects that can be presented at national and international calls. To achieve these objectives, CICAP has a highly qualified and motivated staff.
